I'm now running kernel 2.3.39 with Redhat 6.1 and dnprogs-2.03, and 
the combination seems to work fine.

A few quick tests of things like sethost/ctermd and dnping/mirror
indicate that it appears to be fairly stable (and doesn't exhibit the
old kernel panics that were a feature of 2.3.26), although dnetd still
doesn't seem to do anything useful ... I still have to run mirror or
ctermd or fal daemons by hand ...
