thanks for the patch, I expect davem will queue it for inclusion shortly
(dave... ?). I'm interested in that you mention DECnet on 64 bit archs, I
wonder if you are talking about Alpha in this case ?

So far as I'm aware DECnet does not run on big endian machines at the
moment. I've not heard of anyone reporting success on non-intel
machines, so I wonder if we should perhaps try and build up a list of
known working and known non-working architectures.

I'd like to try and get some of these issues solved for 2.4.xx, so please
mail me with reports of success and failure on non-intel machines and
I'll report back to the list with a summary of what works and what doesn't.

Really I'm only interested in the latest 2.3.xx kernels for this survey,
but if people send me results with other patches, I'll add them to my summary
too,
