After moving to kernel 2.3.xx, I lost the use of my tulip ether card,
the driver dated 1998 wont work even on 2.2.10.
The driver dated 1999 wont compile on 2.3.xx, but did well for me
on 2.2.10.

I installed a 3c59x card but now I can not get the mac set at the
right place.

I added:
#ifconfig eth0 hw ether AA:00:04:a0:04
#decnet start
to my /etc/rc.d/inet.d/inet script, decnet seems to start ok, but
the address does not seem to set: ioctl:"device or resource busy".
(dnping host 1 gives: no route to host)
I am using caldera's linux 2.3.

Can someone tell me how to set up so my 3com card will run decnet?
Does someone know how to get the tulip driver to work in 2.3.xx???
