1.179 is the Linux box
1.187 is devaxp (an alpha running OpenVMS 7.2)

eth1
i.e.
/etc/decnet.conf
executor 1.179 name norvi line eth1
node 1.120 name modi
node 1.187 name devaxp

There is only one LAN here - no routers.
We are area 1, I do not know where the area 26 came from, a piece of rogue kit
not involved in this perhaps.

No, just on eth1 which is AA:00:04:00:B3:04. devaxp is aa:0:4:0:bb:4.

The eth0 is not used for decnet and its mac address is 0:60:8:78:dd:1b.

Can't tcpdump eth1 (decnet interface - get error in previous mail) so I
tcpdumped eth0 (on the same network) just to check there was some decnet
traffic.
Hope these answers are useful. I sort of thought the decnet packets were going
out on to the net but perhaps not being routed back in because I was using eth1?
